Linda McMahon Opponent Sends Her ‘Ten Questions’

Rob Simmons, Linda McMahon’s rival for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in Connecticut, has released a letter in which he asks her to answer ten questions related to the quashing of the government investigation of steroids in pro wrestling after the Chris Benoit murder-suicide; the truck-wide loopholes in the World Wrestling Entertainment Wellness Policy, which McMahon helped design as the company’s CEO; the recent death of Eddie “Umaga” Fatu; the drug use of her husband, WWE chairman Vince McMahon; and other topics.

The letter — viewable at — is devastating.

As predicted here, Simmons waves the bloody Rahm Emanuel flag in wondering why the White House Office of Drug Control Policy did nothing with the investigation and recommendations of Congressman Henry Waxman, then chair of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

One of my personal favorite questions involves Linda McMahon’s son-in-law, wrestler Paul “Triple H” Levesque. Noting that Vince McMahon is exempt from company drug-testing, Simmons cheekily asks if other relatives who are WWE talent get similar privileges.

Fun. And deadly serious.
